Cask at the Harp, London. Pours a clear, light gold with a modest white head. Light malt aroma with sour fruit notes. More sourness in the flavor, along with subtle sweetness and some earthy bitterness. Light bodied with low carbonation. Has an odd, sweet and sour finish. This beer must have been off.

Cask-conditioned at the Wellington, Birmingham 31/08/10. Pale amber in colour with a slick of a white head. Lager malts aroma with some fruity sweetness. Bready malt flavour with some sharp fruits and bitter finish. Unusual.

Cask gravity at Reading BF 06. I am sure that they were trying to make something in this style, but missed by quite a long way. Having said that though, this isn’t a bad beer. Amber, bubbly off white head. Herby hop aroma.. Soft and cold in the mouth with some toffee. I quite like the harsh finish which has more toffee
