During the process of barrel blending we discover that some beers have the potential to reach new dimension.
It’s the moment we bring all the beautiful ingredients to the table and just experiment with it. Kinda like you do in your kitchen during the holidays. Some vanilla, cacao nibs, tonka, coffee or cinnamon. We try until we find the right match to enhance the beer’s palate.
After deciding on the ingredients, we source luscious amounts of it and put it in our self-made adjunct tank where it can soak and extract all the flavours into the beer. The result is a rich and layered beer.
Holiday is created with a signature Moersleutel Imperial Stout base beer that has aged for 11 months on Blantons Bourbon barrels. After barrel aging we let it soak on cacao nibs and premium vanilla beans.
We advise to store this beer in our Moersleutel Advent Box and serve it fresh at a temperature of 12°C on December 24, 2022.

Can at nicks. Pours black, nose is rich chocolate, vanilla, coconut, caramel, taste is similar, bitter finish. 8/9/9/8/8.5

Can shared at home. Classic combination, classic flavour profile, classic Moers stout. Not sure if the extra year of aging did it any good tho

Can from the sourse. Black with tan head. Loads of chocolate, some gudge, dark chocolate, some roast. Drinks nicely.

As usual great base stout. Super thick and full bodied, the added dessert shit is sensible and not overdone. The barrel makes it work. Moersleutel adventkal 2022

440 ml can. Pours black with a short dark tan head. Aromas of fudgy chocolate, thick vanilla, soft sweet bourbon and slick roasted malts. Flavors of rich roasted malts, dry powdery dark chocolate, soy sauce/umami, black coffee and dark thick vanilla; with subtle oak and dark sweet fruit. Fantastic.
