Pours black with full dark tan head that settles to a nice persistent foam. Aromas of chocolate nougat, soft sweet bourbon, subtle cherries, vanilla, and slick roasted malts. Rich flavors of dark caramel, fudge, soft sweet bourbon, oaky cognac, vanilla and tonka, and oily roasted malts. Great balance though still pastry stout sweet. No hint of the ABV. Can’t get much better…
