Opaque black - brown beer, small mid tan head. Palate is fairly dry and had just mild fine carbonation. The dark malts and a little earthy, with a trace of coffee. Mild roast bitterness. Little malt cream. Mild spice. Trace of brandy before a dry finish. Spicy bitter linger. Not bad.

Keg at the Euston tap. Aroma is smoked malt, vanilla and oak. Some toasted marshmallow in the nose as well. Dark caramel pour with a lasting tan head. Flavour is toast, low mellow rauch malt and choc. Finish is lingering roast and wood. with some hot alcohol. Palate is velvety smooth and effervescent in the finish. Some charred wood. Very clean ferment. So so good.
