Cask at Reading Beer Festival 2012. Pours clear gold with a light, white foam head. Tangy straw in the aroma. Lightly sweet flavor with some grainy malts, dirty hay and light honey. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Mild sweet finish with more grain, lightly peppery hops and hay. Fine.

On gravity at the Christmas Beer Festival, The Volunteer, Bristol 15/12/2012. Deep gold with a slight, off-white head. Light, apricot fruit and leafy hop aroma. Flavour had solid, bready malts, a lot more fruit and a decent bitter finish. Good.

The aroma is spiced liquorice and it remains spicy in the palate, pleasant though.
