500ml bottle. Clear amber couloured with huge frothy lasting white head. Cautious bitter hop aroma, strawy, notes of coniferes and clove. Monotonous but integrated taste, dry, strawy, grainy. Good mouthfeel, full, smooth and "concerted".

Cask at the Three Guineas, Reading. Reddish chesnut with a thin white head; aroma of autumn fruits; the flavour is fruity, but also dry with hints of black treacle; the finish has some sharply bitter hops and a touch of smoke. Excellent.
