Bottle from Booths, Media City. Pleasantly light in its texture, it feels good in the palate. Has plenty of pale ale character with a stated enough dry tropical fruitiness.

500ml bottle. Barely clear, orangey golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Minimally grassy, slightly tropical fruity, hoppy aroma, biscuity malty background. Taste is floral and slightly citrusy, fruity hoppy, minimally sweet pale malty, hints of lemon, a grassy touch. Refreshing, very drinkable - nice.

50cl bottle from M&S, Camberley. A pale amber pour with a thin white head; sweet grainy aroma with a trace of tropical fruit; similar taste with some apricot and almond; and a rather sticky finish with a slight rasp to the bitterness. If this has aspirations to be an APA it fails miserably, and it doesn’t really fit the mould of a classic English light ale.

Handpump @Mad For Beer (Rome). Pale yellow, just a little bit cloudy, with a medium white foam. Aroma has light grassy notes and tropical fruits, some biscuits and, some yeasts, nice! Taste has a light malt profile wit ha decent bitter end, clean and drinkable. Low body, fresh and refreshing. Decent session for sure, just "too much" watery.

Bottle from the Bottle Bank. Appearance - golden amber with a decent head. Nose - nettles and elderflower. A little sweet maris otter in the background. Taste - citrus, nettles again. Again a gentle sweet malt backbone. Palate - light bodied with a light but creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - totally reminds me of Orkney Best. A light but perfectly balanced and restrained beer that refreshes fantastically.

Cask at The Hanging Bat. Pours clear pale gold, thin white head. Light grassy and grain aromas. Light fruit on the taste, and a mineral note. Little thin on the finish. OK.

Cask at the Euston tap. Clear golden straw colour with a loose white head. Some lace. Aroma is light grassy citrus hop and straw. Flavour is grainy cereal with some husk tanin, hop is grassy with some chive. Chalky carbonic finish. Very light palate is a bit too chalky.

Cask handpull at Cask Pub & Kitchen Pimlico. Some toffee on the aroma. Little bit of hop. Not the best. Too much toffee and thin in the mouth.
