(Can) clear, bright dark amber color with a small brown head; aroma of molasses; somewhat thick and smooth palate, dryish flavour with a long light bitter finish

Dark brown. Medium head. The aroma is assertively cocoa, American. On the palate, it's got a reasonable sweetness, again cocoa heavy, not super complex and very American. None of the fruit, or richness, or complex dark sugars I'd normally associate with this style. It's an okay beer, but misses the style by a pretty wide margin.

Black body with thin off white head. Good malty aroma. Malty taste, chocolate and roast. Long roast finish. Alcohol should be 7.6 per centum.
