Bushcraft is a full flavoured light copper coloured session bitter. We’ve added plenty of rye and wheat to the mash, which gives it a slight dryness on the palate. The Pilot and Bramling Cross hops used in the boil work together to give a nice bitter edge with notes of lemon and blackcurrant in the finish.

Cask at CBC, London. Pours clear amber with a white foam head. Like a light amber ale in character. Some lightly toasted malts, light pine. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish with mild pine bitterness, toasted malts, faint caramel. Very decent.

Cask at the Wenlock Arms, London on 29th December 2010. Copper with thin foam. Malty aroma then rather bitter in-mouth; back-of-mouth bitterness and grapefruit notes, before a lingering bittersweet aftertaste. Light mouthfeel.

Cask-conditioned at the Watershed Cafe, Bristol 8/10/09. Copper coloured with a tight white head. Aroma of red fruits, cereals and fruity hops. Flavour began with a tocuh of sweetness, hedgerow fruit and a touch of citrus before a dry finish. Good.
