Dandelion and Nettle Bitter
Outward Bound is our dandelion and nettle bitter brewed with locally foraged nettles and dandelions. It was mashed with a base of English pale malt with additions of flaked barley, dark crystal malt and Golden Naked Oats. Outward Bound was hopped with Saaz and East Kent Golding and open-fermented with our house English ale strain.

Kind of a murky amber, fairly thick head. A fair bit of casky acidity, probably a bit more than is ideal. Arguably throwing gruity herbs into a bitter could make a claim to be a medieval Welsh Ale, if you wanted to go down that road. This is just sort of a muddle.
