"Böhmisch Dunkel", vom Faß im Biergarten des Eschenbräus im Wedding, wo es auch als "Böhmisch Kellerbier" beworben wird, 6.7.2025. - Nicht dunkel sondern goldbraun, hefetrüb; sahniger Schaum. - In der Nase reiches, üppiges Karamel- und Münchner Malz, Trockenaprikose, zitrusfruchtige und hopfenwürzige Hopfung, Anklänge an Likör. - Antrunk satt und füllig karamellig und mild dunkelmalzig, kaum süß, dafür aromatisch grasig-pampelmusig-herbal gehopft (mit der Zuchtsorte Sládek). Milder rezent, vollmundig. Im Abgang aromatisch herbal hopfenherb mit leiser minziger Kühle. - Kernig malziges, aromatisch gehopftes Bier, allerdings eher ein Kellerbier in Exportstärke als ein Dunkles.

Tap: Deep ruby-amber coloured, stable and lacy off-white head; delicate metallic traces in the relatively dry taosty-bitter nose, hints of coffee detectable; mild to moderate bitter-sweet flavour , quite light bodied, quite soft;slightly lingering roasty-bitter and caramelly finish. Pleasant and not too sweet…
