Experimental IPA #39 is brewed with a brand new hop product called “CGX” from Crosby Farms. CGX is made by separating lupulin from the vegetative matter of hops at super cold temperatures and then creating a very lupulin concentrated pellet. This is pretty similar to Cryo pellets which you may be more familiar with, even though Crosby says it’s WAY different…you get the idea. Anyways, we put a bunch of Strata CGX and some Citra in this beer and it’s delicious. Soft and smooth with notes of grapefruit, sweet red berry, and lime zest.

Opaque, no head. Definitely the citra allium is hitting, sweet pale malts, hits some grapefruit. Light malt so hops end up fairly assertive.
