Pours clear gold with a white head. Light dry pine on the nose. Flavour has dry woody pine, detergent; a bit stale. Not great.

On tap at Brassneck, pours a clear pale golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma has bright piney hops, biscuity malt, and even some fruitiness. Flavour seems fruitier and brighter for a Cascade-only pale ale, with piney hops, gentle fruitiness, and crisp biscuity malt. Bright, crisp and clean. Solid.

Poured from the tap. Hazed amber yellow with small white head. Mild caramel malt, light pine hops, a bit subdued overall. Okay.

Can from the brewery. Amber colour with a bit of haze. Some pine and caramel to this one. Indeed, it’s actually pretty sweet. Maybe some citrus in the finish. I get the theme…like a step up from amber is a legit interpretation of pale ale…but that isn’t all that compelling and I wish there was a brighter hop character to this.
