Dark brown colour. The aroma is quite a bit fruitier than I was expecting. Dark chocolatey fruits, but still. On the palate, it's unconventional. It starts with a chocolately sweetness, no roast, but there is a bit of dried chipotle sort of character. Not the adobe stuff, just straight up dried chipotle. Not nearly enough of it, but for me there's no such thing. The beer has a fairly light, moreish kind of body. It comes across like a big mild, rather than a classic brown. I'm not opposed to that. And of course, I can handle way more chipotle in this.
