Bottle at Stockholm Beer and Whiskey Festival 2012. Pitch black liquid with small dark tan head. Aroma of licorice, ash, booze, chocolate, tobacco, dark fruit, vanilla and raw sugar. Taste is medium to high sweet and light to medium bodied with notes of ash, biscuit and raw sugar. Full bodied with low carbonation. Quite good actually.

On tap at Ølfestival 2012. A black one, topped by a dense, finger-thick, dark tan head. The aroma has loads and loads of coffee and chocolate, as well as roasted malts and a generous dose of caramel sauce. There’s a nice bitterness in the flavor, both of the hoppy kind and of the roasted kind. Else, it’s quite sweet, so it needs the hopping. Roasted malts, caramel sauce and lots of chocolate and coffee. Full-bodied, creamy and lightly warming. Just freakin’ lovely. 120512

Sample from 375 ml. bottle. "Intensely" black with a small, dense dark brown head. Aroma is heavy roasted malts, caramel, liquorish, coffee, chocolate and dark, dried fruits. Taste is heavy sweet and roasted. Full body with thick texture. Finishes long lasting with an overwhelming amount of roasted malts, sweet and sticky malts, alcohol, chocolate and hints of liquorish. I had problems with rinsing my glass after this beer. It is simply so thick and vulgar. To much of a good thing?

Copenhagen Beer Festival, May 2012. Black with a small, light brown head. Aroma of licorice, charcoal, ash and ink, with a touch of pine hops. Sweet malty flavour with roasted and licorice character. Some pine notes and a solid bitterness, but the overall impression is simplistic and sugary sweet malt.

The most stupid brewery name ever
Draught at Danske Ølentusiasters Ølfestival 2012, Copenhagen
Very black color a promised, with dark brown head. Aroma of roasted malt and some pepper. Thick mouthfeel, chocolate and pepper, some tobacco, oily, quite sweet, and the roasted malt is not too much; moderate alcohol warmth.
Thick and very good.
