A squashing good ale which brings together the flavours of allspice, nutmeg and ginger in seasonal harmony. Many gourds were smashed in the production of this beer. Ingredients: malted barley, water, hops, sugar pumpkins, spices & yeast.

This is made with gourds and spice. Has a pale brown colour, and drops bright. Thin head. Nutmeg and allspice especially on the nose. Light caramel malt. Sweet malt, lots of nutmeg and allspice especially. A fair bit of residual sweetness but it’s good – a little bit of caramelized stuff, darker richer sugars that complement these spices fairly well. I seldom get excited about this style, but this is a solid example.
