(Bottle) Golden colour, slightly hazy, with big frothy off-white head. Fruity nose with notes of dried fruit, peaches, mango, honey and spicy/floral hops. Fruity, malty taste with peaches, tropical fruit, honey, pears and a spicy, slightly estery finish with a light alcohol burn and a certain floral bitterness. More than medium bitterness, fairly sweet. Tasty and spicy, with the Chimay yeast character shining through. Quite nice.

Bottle. A big off-white head forms on top of an unclear, golden body. The aroma is mostly fruity, with sugar, a faint spiced touch and some phenolic hints. Some yeast notes too. The flavor has some banana notes, with lemon hints, canned pears and white sugar. Some notes of grains. A strange puke-like touch too. Full body, soft carbonation, some warmth. Fruity, sugary finish with a little yeast and spices. A pretty decent one, but sort of messy. 131228

Flavour is citrus, some spices, yeast, mild sweet maltyness as well as some toffeeish notes. Smooth and quite pleasantly balanced.
