We are in the heart of BC wine country and we are lucky to have some great buds in the industry who love beer too! We gathered up bins of their spent grape skins post-crush, so we could trial a few more skin-contacted beers in 2020! For the Veritas, we used Sauvignon Blanc grape skins from Maverick Winery and a Kolsch yeast strain to obtain a beer with tropical, dry & green fruit flavours.

A Belgian-ish sort of thing with a vinous character. Slight haze, pale amber. Sweet and sticky, though, definitely needs to ferment out a bit more.
