Bright dark amber. Just a thin head. The aroma is fairly toasty up front, showing a bit of caramelly sweetness in there as well. On the palate, there’s more of that toasty, caramelly malt with some earthy hops. Just a touch of fruitiness. It finishes a bit watery, unfortunately. Authentic alt, falling below the brewpub classics but ahead of the supermarket industrial ones.
