Can from Firefly, Vancouver
Golden colour, slight haze, with compact head. The aroma is slightly fruity, flowery, also some wilt flowers. Good mouthfeel, some bread flavour; there is some butter feeling too, but I'll write it off and think it's the Sabro (coconut) profile instead; it has a bit of that ESB earthiness in the finish. As an old style Pale Ale, not bad.

Dark amber, just a bit of haze. Medium haze. Has a lot of sweet malt on the nose, almost a touch of caramel to it. On the palate, that rich, caramelized malt sweetness is evident up front, with a mellow bitterness. Good balance and I kind of like that the malt stands out more than the hop.
