Farmhouse IPA

A legend in the Funk music genre, rising to fame with the likes of James Brown and Parliament-Funkadelic. Brewed with oats and raw wheat, Bootsy was fermented warm on a blend of saison yeast and fruit forward brettanomyces, and generously dryhopped with Nelson Sauvin and Wai-iti.

Golden and with a slight haze. Just a thin head. On the nose it's quite fruity, and smells kind of sticky. Yeah, this one is really sweet on the palate, big esters, and not much brightness. I'd have to say that this is not my favourite of this series. Just not that funky, or balanced.

Blond colour, slight haze. The aroma is mildly funky and hoppy, citrus peel. Dry but bold mouthfeel, with pleasant interlacing between strong yeast character and strong bitter citrus hops.
Very good.
