Feurre (Vol. 3) is the third iteration in a series of culinary-inspired saisons. The idea with Feurre was to strike a balance between complimentary flavours, acidity, and the classic esters and phenols of our house saison culture. Volume 3 was brewed in collaboration with a local favourite gastropub, The Gull. We spiced Feurre V3 with Sumac, Fenugreek, and Cilantro in the boil, giving the beer a very savoury feel. We balanced the savoury with lime zest and juice for an intense flavour profile.

Dark blond, no head and a dull haze. Holy fenugreek and lime...sumac tartness maybe lost in the base tartness, esp with lime.

Draught at the brewery
Cloudy blond colour. Some smell of spices and vegeyables, not very inviting for a beer. Moderately sour, the first feeling is middle eastern / Indian food. Sure, sumac lemony thing here.
Not a bad beer, but what's the point?
