500ml bottle from The Bottle Shop Canterbury. Clear gold with thin white head. Decent cereal on this. Fairly fresh I would say. Very slight smokey hint. I thought very drinkable and very decent. Nit what I would call a marzen maybe more like a winter hell. Very decent and likeable beer

Re-rate. Hazy green, offwhite lace. Crawfish green grass nose. Medium mellow, light lime, hayish, slightly muddled. 6 4 7 3 11 Bottle. Golden, fine carbonation. Grainy fat base, quite chewy, like a marzipan bread. Good grassy balance. well-crafted but somewhat predictable..

Bottle from Quack-Duck, thanks! Pale golden color. Malty flowery aroma. Malty, flowery, slightly perfumed flavor with some hints of orange and tropical fruit. Not unpleasant.

Bottle: Clear, deep golden, slowly collapsing fluffy white head, "perfumed" grainy nose with a light hoppy touch; medium bodied, moderate sweet-bitter flavour; robust sweetish-grainy and bitter finish with a tinge of alcohol. Not very aromatic, but robust winter brew......

(bottle) Clear, greenish golden colour with a big but not very persistent and slightly off-white frothy head. Sweet, pale malty and distinctively grainy aroma with notes of biscuits and herbal hops in the background. Sweet flavour with a tinge of bitterness, medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Pale malty, slightly chalky taste with grainy notes and light herbal accents; sweet, malt-accented finish with notes of alcohol and a shy hoppy bitterness. Not a must, but a likeable brew. 08.XII.09
