From the backlog. Cloudy light brown, with a thin head. Some cinnamon, though it presents as harsh, and the malts are really husky as well, conveying an overall rough impression. A bit of vanilla/lactosey sweetness. But. Really, this is a timid approach to hitting chai flavours and I wish for more of a balls-out, no-balance boldness. It just works so much better when there's enough body and sugar to support the vanilla and spice elements.

On tap at R & B, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out cocoa and lactose upfront, with the chai only faintly noticeable in back. Flavour is much more pronounced on the chai, with a nice big, sweet, lactose body. Good mix of the sugars and spice. Solid.
