First up, we have Myriad Interpretations, the first of two Hopfenweisses we'll release in January. This version has been heavily hopped with some bold New Zealand hops, Nelson and Motueka. We love the way these super punchy NZ hops work with the Weisse yeast strain to create a bold mix of bananas, white grapes, and lime

440 ml can, as Cloudwater Hopfenweisse Myriad Interpretations, from Left Field Beer. ABV is 5.5%. Hazy yellow colour, moderate white head. Aroma of melon, papaya and some citrus. Smooth mouthfeel and flavour. Notes of said fruits again, low bitterness. Enjoyable.

LCI. SbS of two Cloudwater Hopfenweissen (assuming that’s the correct plural of a German word made up by an American. I was always going to prefer the NZ one obviously, but still not my favorite style Hop character is a bit muted by the weisse aspects.

440ml can. Hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma of lime zest, banana, herbal/clove, bubblegum, a little grape. Taste of citrus, lime, banana, clove, herbal, bready/wheaty, bubblegum, some grape. Medium bodied. Lovely example of the style as usual from CW, and slightly better than Thousands of Words it was released alongside.

Smooth, citrus, again usual banana flavours, quite impressed by CW, second wheat beer of the evening, and both were top notch.
