This refreshing and tart Berliner Weisse has notes of stonefruit, lemon and a clean, lactic tang. Brewed in collaboration with our friends at East Van Brewing Company, we soured this beer in the kettle to provide an acidic bite. Enjoy it as is, or add a splash of syrup to take the edge off the acidity. Tried either way, this is a light and refreshing.

Appearance - 4 | Aroma - 5 | Flavor - 5 | Texture - 4 | Overall - 4.5
The unflavoured version has a slight haze, some lactic, and it's a bit yeasty, just not clean. Tart, funky / autolyzed. So again lactic, maybe wheatiness, but very yeasty and unclean fermentation.
