Black with a small head. Aroma is roasted malt, licorice and lots of sweet port. Flavour i roasted malt, toffee and lots of sweet and warming port. I think the port is a bit too overwhelming.

Bottled 330ml. -at Goblet Zagreb. Black coloured, minimal beige head, chocolate, alcohol and light wood in the nose. Roasted malt, dark chocolate, light dried fruits and notes of barrel with warming alcohol in the finish.

Nose is chocolate, dark malts, spice, vinous, roasted notes, dried fruit rinds.
Taste comprises mellow port barrel, charr, spice, chocolate, dark fruit rinds, damp oak.
Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, light drying close with a mellow rising boost.
Tidy sipper with a good port blast.

Clear dark brown beer, small and short lived tan head. Light smooth pale, fairly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Thin bodied dark malts, decent creamy dark chocolate. The Tawny Port barrel adds a little wet wood, mild oak induced vanilla and some tangy tawny port soaked ripe fruits. Some esters on the dry finish. Tidy port barrelling but, had many better.

0,33 stridsrasjon fra Statens postordrekatalog, hjemme en regntung søndagskveld: nesten helt svart med kort skum, men la det være sagt med en gang: dette ølet fjerner effektivt angsten for dyre strømregninger, trange dresser og irriterende svigermødre, samtidig som det trenger inn i hjertet uten å forstyrre virksomheten der. Snarere tvert i mot.

Bottle from the dregs run. Pours thick black with a thin beige head. Aromas of raisins, prunes and boozy dark chocolate. Taste is more of the same. Rich and sweet, drying out towards the back.
