A typically Scottish ale, dark with a roasted malt flavour balanced with a slight bitterness and a mild hop aroma. A brilliant accompaniment with hearty food, this is a great winter warmer.

Fra cask på Union Inn, Plympton 25 Sep 16. Ultramørk amber. Såvidt litt skum langs glasset. God aroma av mørke plommer. Smaken sherryaktig. Søt. Lett tørr ettersmak.

Gravity cask at WHOAF 2015 - London. Pours clear amber with a creamy tan head. Tangy berries in the nose, bread, damp wood. Medium sweet flavor with more tangy berries, a sour edge, earth, wood, soggy leaves. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with more tangy fruits, berries, grainy toast, mellow toffee. An interesting sourish British ale.
