Light yellow, almost clear, floral and fruity nose. Clean, smooth, light, a bit of citrus, a woody dryness. Nice stuff. #yearofthelager

Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and fairly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Smooth malts, only mildly lager in character. Nice level of sweetness with light, smooth and well integrated touches of barrel induced vanilla and white wine. Finishes with a little bitterish citric hop coming through the end. Nice lager.

500ml can. Opalescent, orangey, pale golden colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, slightly grainy, minimally husky, malty aroma, a cautious, earthy fruity touch of red and dark berries, blue grapes. Taste is minimally sweet, grainy malty, slightly dry woody, cautious earthy fruity overtones of dark berries and blue grapes. Watery texture, smooth and soft palate, soft to flat carbonation - slightly insipid character overall. I see the endeavour to produce something above average, and there is a nice woody touch in it and a rather unusual kind of fruitiness (regarding style) as well - but all these aspects remain in subtle regions, too anaemic and without enough courage. Some weaknesses considering the secondary virtues as well.
