Light golden coloured body with a nice, two centimetre tall pure white head. Aroma of honey (no surprise there), coriander seed, light malt, some wheat and a bit of dry grass. Light-bodied; Strong grassy and dry flavour of malt along with some sweetness from the honey, but not much in the flavour here. Aftertaste shows the dry grass, touches of sugars from fruits and the honey and a bit of coriander seed freshness. Overall, a pretty subdued and bland beer, but that’s almost what you want or expect for the style. That said, it’s not a bad beer, just mellow. I sampled this stubby twelve ounce bottle purchased on 28-May-2016 from Whole Foods in New York (Bowery), New York for US$2,99 sampled in my hotel room in Lower Manhattan on 29-May-2016.

Pretty sure this is different from regular summer ale or they slightly changed recipe and bottle. Hazy golden orange. Nose is lemony and some light fruits. Tastes of tropical, fruit, some honey, lemongrass, hay, some wood. Decent.
