Cask gravity at White Cliffs BF 2011. Very deep ruby colour with lasting beige head. Looks in good condition. Smells herby. Settles down a bit into a solid dark ale. Ends up ok with some raspberry and dark fruits. It got better.

On gravity at Swindon BF 30/10/08. Deep gold in colour with next to no head. Sweetish malt aroma with orange fruit, caramel and some spicy hops. Flavour was also sweet, with marmalade, fruit cake and grassy hops. A bit overpowering.

(Cask at Pembury Tavern, Hackney, London, 5 Aug 2008) Amber colour with brief, white head. Fruity nose with notes of mandarin, orange, apricots and fresh hops. Fruity taste with orange, mandarin and fres notes of citrussy hops in the finish. Nice strong ale with a lovely hop character.

Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Festival 09-05-08 Pours warm gold with a tiny thin white head, warming sweet honey flavours, spicy hops this is really rather nice although it can be just a tad cloying at times, still an impressive beer and reminds me just a little of Oakham.
