Can at home in Hackney - picked up at Clapton Craft. Pours clear gold with a small, frothy white head. It delivers, with some nice sun-kissed pale malts, modest piney bitterness, some ripening orange, a nip of grass. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Subtle resinous pine in the finish, more citrus fruits. Good stuff. Drinks good.

Keg tap at the brewery. A few years is a ligetime when you're talking about craft beer fads, but even still it's odd to think of this beer as a throwback. Lighter side of gold and clear with a ring of white head. Light aroma of pine needles, spruce, some pomelo and satsuma, dried grass. Bittersweet taste, very slight astringency, with the hop character building to the piney finish. Classic APA that doesn't overdo the hop or the ABV. Very nice.
