Cask from the Blue Boar, Leicester. Mid-gold and mostly clear with a small smattering of white head. Aroma is giving some interesting stuff: melon, white grapefruit, persimmon. Sweet taste with an almost syrupy yet slightly sulphurous character, some white grapefruit juice here. Gentle bitterness on the finish. Fleshy citrus and grape on the aftertaste. Not what I was expecting, and all the better for it.
