Hand pulled pint in Ye Olde Fighting Cocks, Oakengates on 29th October 2025. Clean and clear old gold in colour, off white crown that stayed the distance. Malty with an orchard fruit feel, more semi sweet than bitter, nice easy start to the drinking session.

Handpull cask at the Rutland & Derby, Leicester. Brownish gold, clear with a tight beige head and loads of lacing. Malty aroma. There's some lovely grape and apricot hop notes underneath but it's buried under all that malt. Off taste. Bittersweet, a touch of vinegar, again some hidden apricot. Finish is a little more bitter but it never leaves the mid sphere. Medium body with soft carbonation.
