Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 30th August 2025. Copper with shallow off-white foam and scant lacing. Biscuit malts aroma. Rich maltiness, cherry fruits and spices in-mouth. A malty finish with grassy bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel and a fair amount of body.

Cask at The Kentish Belle, Bexleyheath.
Nose is caramel, dried fruits, toffee apple. Taste is very similar. Malty sweet with a light bitter backbone. Nice.

Handpull cask at the Two-Tailed Lion, Leicester. Golden brown and clear with a good-sized beige head. Biscuity malty aroma, some toffee. Taste is more complex with a slight sulphurous note to the sweetness. More toffee followed by a light astringent bitter. Light to medium body, soft carbonation. Not exactly my cup of tea but I was happy to have been able to try it.
