Cask @ Exchange Ale House, Bradford. Black with a thick light-brown creamy head. Hoppy and fruity, but always fighting against its own dark malts for superiority. Fantastic and frustrating brew at the same time. Sometimes floral but notes of chocolate too.

Handpull cask at the Two-Tailed Lion, Leicester. Dark brown, translucent with a large tight khaki head. Pine, floral notes, fresh tangerine rind in the aroma. Sweet taste, more pine, some ashy bitterness in the finish. Medium body and carbonation on the low side. Very good.
