[Cask at Reading BF] Black, thin beige head. Light and oddly floral up front. Then heavily roasted malt kicks in with lots of ash, but unusually this doesn’t make the beer too bitter. There’s some light hops playing around in the background, giving odd sparkles of lemon and grass, and chocolate in the finish. Really very good indeed, the best I’ve had from this brewery, and the best I had at this festival too. c10
