Cask at the Priory Arms, London on 4th August 2010. Pale gold, hazy body and off white frothy lacing head. Aroma is delicate sweet apple (NOT the apple associated with turning beers!), grassy hop and cheese. Main taste is hoppy/grassy/citric, and the finish is increasingly bitter and lingering. Light texture. Pleasant ale, just over session strength. 7/3/8/4/15 Re-rating June 2023: Cask at the Alehouse, Reading on 30th June 2023. Clear amber with shallow whitish foam and scant lacing. Malty aroma. Leafy hops and caramel malts in-mouth, and a finish of overripe fruits and sweet caramel. Light bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. 6/4/6/3/13

7th April 2010. Hazy pale gold beer. Semi dry palate. Sharpish hops - a little tangerine and citrus. Finishes with a faint sweet apple note. Tasty!
