Sessionable and light-hearted, leaving a subtle satisfying bitterness in its wake. Fragrant hoppy flavours redefine refreshment for this classic table beer.

Cask at the Duke of St Albans, Highgate on 4th August 2025. Copper shallow tan foam and full lacing. Rich malty aroma. Hazelnut nuttiness in-mouth with herbal grasses. Bitter grassy finish. Light bodied with a smooth mouthfeel.

Bottle at home from Tudor Wines in Hitchin. Good pour with malt.and light bitter hops on the nose and palate. Quite a lot going on for the low abv. This is a good one.

Cask at The Cricketers Arms, Berwick. Unsure this should be a new rating given it is the old IPA with a new label, one that is more fitting and will probably give it a better score. Light, watery session ale that does the job before a cycle home. Reasonable caramel gold.
