(Bottle) Very pale yellow beer with a decent frothy head. Light, fruity aroma. Flavour is light and fruity as well with a bit of sharp hop thrown in as well. Slightly bitter finish but it’s somewhat short-lived.

Honey gold with a soapy, thin white head. Very light fruit, grain aroma. Taste is the same, creamy with a mild bitter. Extremely light, but very nice.

Pizzeria Paradiso, Alexandria cask 12oz ($9): Pours a hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is lemony with a nice amount of malts and a bit of hops. Taste is bready, but has a good heaping pile of lemon all over it. Very easy drinking because of the cask nature of it. Nice mouthfeel. This was a simple, but still excellent ale.

Bottle from Morrisons
Light straw..crystal clear...good frothy white head...some lacing
Aroma - light spicy and citrus hops...hint of light grassy hop..some cereal notes...light golden malts
Taste - Light spicy and citrus hops...soft golden bit creamy malts...bit of cereal...light flavour.. refreshing very easy drinking...flavour is too restrained for me though but what there is good
Palate - soft carb...thin body..smooth.. .light. Finish - as main flavour ...bit creamy....clean finish
Overall - Easy going golden ale...light flavour and aroma...a bit too light for me but still a reasonably good beer. Good introductory beer for lager drinkers.

500 mL bottle from Wine Warehouse in Charlottesville, VA. Pours a hazy golden color with a large frothy white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of pale malts, stone fruits and grassy hops. The taste is pale malts, some toastiness, caramel, stone fruits, raisins and a hoppy finish. Medium bodied. Nice beer. Even nicer ABV.

A light blonde ale with a thin white head. In aroma, a lightly skunked malt with light honey notes, light lactic points. In mouth, a nice smooth sweet malt with not much else, light honey, light bodied. Bottle at Mondial 2011, June 11 2011.

Bottle from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. I’ve been entranced by WB ales since discovering them in a shop under the Holborn Viaduct. This one pours darkish gold with a foamy white head. Aromas of light malt and citrus. Med body/foamy carb. There’s wheaty malt and some citrusy hop. It’s dry. It’s not the best ale in the world. But I could drink it all day!!! England and St. George! Ooops. Up Scotland!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bottle. Pours clear gold with a foamy, white head and strong lacing. Bready malt aroma with some earthy hops. Nicely sweet, with mild caramel notes and fuggle-like bitterness. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes clean with short hop linger. Excellent balance in this beer.
