Bottle shared at the craft beer junction bermondsey tasting Dave's devilish deal tasting. Many thanks. A opaque black brown coloured pour with a halo of tan head. Aroma is semi sweet salted caramel, fudge, common bun, brown sugars, . Flavour is composed of medium sweet, cinnamon, salted caramel, fudge, bourbon, light tang lovely.

19th June 2026Dealing With The Devil again tasting at CBJ. Thanks to Wingman. Opaque dark brown beer, small and short lived bubbly tan head. Airy smooth palate, modest fine carbonation, fine for the style. Smooth rich dark malts, soft dark chocolate with a good dose of milk chocolate. A mild pepper induced fruitiness. A mild cinnamon, good, the milder the better. Pretty subtle coconut. Very quaffable.

22 oz. bottle, pours jet black with almost no head. Aroma has intense coconut, some cinnamon, light vanilla, and a touch of papers. Flavour is rich and cohesive, with lots of cinnamon, coconut and peppers in good cohesion. Very smooth, oily, almost flat carb, but everything is cohesive. Excellent.

Dark brown. No head. Nice chiles like guajillo sort, along with coconut, decent bourbon. On the palate, vanilla and cinnamon, the chiles are again dry and earthy, but more complementary on the palate where on the nose they take the lead. It's thick, and sticky sweet, and the adjuncts aren't bad. Excellent.

Poured from 650mL bottle. Very dark brown with no head. Old woody barrel, cinnamon, feint dried peppers and vanilla with a just a hint of coconut. Decent, but prefer Tuesday 2024.

Frothy off-white fair mostly diminishing head. Black colour. Heavy malty and moderate hoppy aroma. Heavy bitter wonderful flavor. Chocolate notes. Long heavy bitter finish. Creamy palate.
