Mørk gylden brun klar med fingerhøyt beige skum. Lukter kandis, vanilje, trevirke og karamell. Middels fylde.

Two litre bottle shared with JMD and OWK at HNB 01.11.15. Cloudy dark orange. Beige head. Aroma of malt, with an unfortunate hint of apples. Lots of malt in taste, balanced by moderate bitterness and berries. Raw wort in aftertaste.

15.02.2014, "tap" @ the brewery:
Big creamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly neutral, caramel malts, nuts, chocolate, toffee, weeds, yeast. Taste is slightly sweet grainy, caramel malts, hay, slightly roasted grain, shed, toffee, chocolate, weeds. Medium bitterness, slightly dry mouthfeel. Nice enough.

Taster, tap, at the brewery. Lasting, creamy, fawn-coloured head to a golden-brown coloured body, next to clear. Caramel aroma. Jam-like taste of caramel, earth, and dried fruits. Mild roasted, malt-fruity ending. Fine bodied. Smooth in the mouth. Decent version of the style (RBNG event, Tour de Østfold 15.02.2014).

330 ml bottle, courtesy of Cunningham. Slightly cloudy golden body with a small white head. Aroma of ripe fruit, vegetables, stain/paint remover and baking yeast. Flavor is a chaotic mix of grain, cooked vegetables, acid, caramel, bread and baking yeast. Like a weird farmhouse ale. Thin body and aftertaste in the same style. Looking forward to sample a fresh and healthy version one day.
