Our classic imperial stout base has been resting in 3 aromatic Triple Sec barrels for over 8 months. The result is a deliciously decadent, smooth stout with top notes of orange liqueur, oak & vanilla.

14th March 2023 Can. Opaque dark brown beer, small dark tan head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Airy dark malts, modest creamy sweetness, mellow dark chocolate. Mild boozy spice in the mid. The triple sec barrel brings a trace of vanilla and a mellow orange liqueur. Comes together well enough into a smooth and mildly spicy finish. Decent but frankly the Thornbridge Necessary Evil Triple Sec pisses all over this.
