Draught @ Poppyland Brewery, Cromer, which is quite close to a prominent and unique red and stone wall church. Deep golden-amber with a head. Hoppy-sugars in aroma, sugary mix of English style and more tropical, with orange or its peel evident in taste. The brew's strength is evident in both.

Hazy deep reddish amber beer, good cream colour head. Smooth and somewhat silky palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth malts, a thin creamy sweetness. Nice orchard fruits vibes with very soft pine. Mild berry fruits, Brambling Cross blackberry coming to the fore. Very mild esters. Trying to pick up these alleged coffee malts, well maybe a trace but I half expect it's confirmation bias. More orchard fruits on the back end before a semi dry finish. Nice beer although hard to identify an obvious style, over in the land of a million badges, they are classing this as a brown ale. I don't buy it, malts are not prominent enough. Layered and different and drinkable.
