Can. Just a light haze on this deep amber beer, small pale tan head. Soft but rich whiskey nose, slightly earthy, never peatty - thank the lord! Smooth palate, very mild viscosity, decent fine carbonation. Soft rich malts, a light creamy sweetness with plenty of caramel. Lovely fruity soft whiskey. Looking for the rum barrel and it's there underneath and pretty fruity. Cherry? Pretty subtle and what there is is both mildly tart and quite ripe. More soft but rich whiskey on the finish. Very BA barleywine, nowt wrong with that. This is a full on tasty ba affair.
