Based on an Old Fashioned, brewed with a variety of botanicals including gentian root and grains of paradise. Aged in a Wild Turkey Bourbon barrel for 3 months. Brewed with our friends at The Plasterers Arms and Gonzo's Tea room (both Norwich).

Can. Light haze on this orange amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth but light and fairly dry palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Pretty full on marmalade and orange peel bitterness, some thin but tasty bourbon soaked grapefruit, pink grapefruit. Modest spice. Light crisp finish. doesn't fall too far short of what it sets out to do, but ultimately nothing special!
