The aromas are mild dark malt with a little bit of spice. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose and much stronger. Cinnamon dominates with sweet a little over carbonation and bitter. Not bad but nothing special at all.

16 ounce can from Tavour. Hazy, garnet colored pour. No head. Rich, toasted malt aroma hints at cinnamon. Flavor brings notes of black pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and strong whiskey. A big push of warming alcohol completes this holiday bomb. It’s a bit rough around the edges, so a bit of aging might mellow this one out.
Botella de @ Zombier, online. 24/12/2022. Color ambarino corona de espuma blanca escasa, aromas especiados, sabor especiado, dulce. Cuerpo medio.

On tap at Hoppin' Frog, pours a hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out whiskey barrels, nutmeg, cinnamon and ginger in decent enough harmony. Flavour is sweet, spicy, and barrel-dominated, with lots of whiskey barrels that complement the ginger, nutmeg and cinnamon. Opens up as it warms and the flavours complement each other even more. Sweet and spicy Xmas ale that works well without fully convincing me that this is that great.

Bomber from Tavour. Pours very dark, but clear, ruddy copper with a decent beige head that didn't last long. Aroma is seasonal - Xmas rather than Halloween. Moderate spice level. Arguably full bodied. Flavor is rather gingerbread. Graham flour missing, but lots of ginger and cinnamon. Love ginger. Malt is hard to figure out. Notes of whiskey and lightly musty wood. Dry enough. Spices stand in for bitter. Quite a tasty treat.

Bomber from Tavour. Dark brown, a few bubbles then flat. Savory winter spice aroma, gingerbread. Taste adds a hint of chocolate, more winter spice, and just a hint of barrel.

Bomber. Aroma is coriander, cinnamon, nutmeg. Pours a murky caramel colored hue with a collapsing beige head. Taste is moderately sweet, savory, with Christmas spice flavors. Pretty tasty but rich. Better shared probably.
Nutmeg and cinnamon extravaganza. If you add the same amount of nutmeg and cinnamon to a brown ale and then to a pumpkin ale, would you be able to tell the difference? What is this aged in nutmeg cinnamon barrels? Suspiciously light, spice water.
