Bottle from House Of Trembling Madness. Hazy brown body with no head. Low carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of cherry, earth and a slight smokiness. Flavour of toffee and roasted malt. Medium to full body with a slick mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Very easy drinking for the ABV. This is a subtle and interesting beer.

Bottle courtesy of Dad, who picked this up straight from the brewery, cheers Dad! Had this at home Attenkirchen Thursday 31st October 2019 listening to Gideon Coe on 6Nusic. Pours amber with an off white head, looks great!. Fruity with alcohol soaked Christmas Cake dried fruits, sweet but certainly not cloyingly so. The aroma has smokey peat, however it's not bad at all. It's quite thick in the mouth and a little bit boozy, but I like this, it's really good.

Light haze on this amber beer, small pale tan head. Smooth and semi dry palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Soft and semi dry malts, a mild malt cream sweetness. Obvious peat, some spice too. But mercifully well short of that acrid bandaid flavour beloved of very strange people. Modest dried fruits. Smooth semi dry spicy finish. Interesting but wouldn’t want loads.
