Bottle at Howlin Hops Tank Room, Hackney Wick, Good Friday 25th March 2016 in the company of Lynn and Barry. Pours pale gold a bit hazy with a white head atop. Fruit and with vegetables on nose. Fruity in the mouth, however lacks the hoppiness of the BIPA, it’s ok but the weakest of their beers had today. A6 A3 T6 P3 Ov13 3.1

Cask at the Cock Tavern, London. Pours clear gold with a faint, white foam head. Big bready nose, some diacetyl and caramel. Mdium sweet flavor with dark, toasty grass bitterness, some dirt, ripe orange, light pine. Medium in body with soft, fine carbonation. Mildly sticky finish with some more dirt and pine, hints of alcohol, ripe citrus fruits, some toasty dough, toasty sugars. Could use a bit of tweaking, but OK.
