Light haze on this reddish amber beer, good bubbly pale tan head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Fluffy malts, touch oc sweetness. Forest Fruits come through loud and clear, the tea much less so. Nibbly spice runs throughout. Softens into a kinda Forest Fruit pudding thanks to the underlying vanilla. Mercifully Tonka is well absorbed here, plays a part but dominating like it does in so many beers. A tasty number then, pretty unusual to. I'd be hard pressed to identify this as a Barleywine if I'd tasted this without prior knowledge. Amusing.
